  • ArmarX is the robot software development environment, developed and used for the ARMAR humanoid robots at KIT, see https://armarx.humanoids.kit.edu 


    You will be part of the ArmarX team and develop independently and with the team new software components and modules for tasks ranging from graphical user interface, visualization, software design, hardware abstraction middleware to the state-of-the-art methods in robot vision, grasping, motion planning and robot learning. In addition to software implementation, you will be responsible for evaluation different methods in simulation and/or on the real robot in the context of several running projects.


    Prerequisites are solid programming skills in C++, knowledge about software engineering, the ability to quickly understand and work with large software frameworks and interest in robotics. Knowledge about Python and machine learning is advantageous but not required.
